Canyon Quickdraw

The Canyon quickdraw is a sling, either short or long, with two locking carabiners attached.
A canyon quickdraw can be used to rapidly secure any two objects together (ie you and an anchor). It is also useful to shorten up a long anchor for less skilled canyoneers. The last canyoneer can release the quickdraw and rappel with the rapide beyond the canyon lip.
An HMS carabiner in one position allows use of the canyon quickdraw in a contingency anchor. A "Twisted Sister" Stubai HMS carabiner in the lower position helps keep the rope away from the rock.
