Ropes are long and easily tangle into nasty rat's nests.
Rope management can be done by efficiently coiling the rope or by backstacking it into a Rope Bag.

[edit] Rope bags
Using a rope bag can be very efficient in a canyon with many short drops and is usually preferred over the unpleasant process of untangling the rope, rapping, and recoiling the entire rope.
